If you smell gas, leave first
If you smell gas in Vernon, Armstrong, Enderby, or anywhere else in the valley, get everyone out. Call the gas utility from outside. Then call me.
Do not look for the leak with a lighter. Do not stay inside flipping switches to see what still works. The utility stops the supply. I do the fitting after it is safe to be in the house.
What I can do once you are back inside
Gas fitting sits on the same truck as the plumbing. A water heater whose burner will not stay lit. A range, fireplace, or other appliance that needs a proper hookup after a renovation. A line the utility has already made safe, and that now needs repair.
I will not talk you through tightening a fitting while you are standing in the smell. Leave, call the utility, then call (604) 351-9145.
Ask for the ticket if a permit needs it
The qualification is not printed on this page, so I will not type a number I have not put on the site. If the job needs it for a permit or an insurer, ask me before the work starts. You should hear the price before a line is opened.
